What we believe:

1. We believe in the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments as verbally inspired of God, and inerrant in the original writings, that they are of supreme and final authority in faith and life.

2. We believe that there is one God manifested in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

3. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal premillenial return in power and glory.

4. We believe that man was created in the image of God, that he sinned and thereby incurred not only physical death but also spiritual death which is separation from God, and that all human beings are born with a sinful nature and therefore become sinners in thought, word, and deed.

5. We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures as a substitutionary sacrifice, and that all who receive Him by faith are born again of the Holy Spirit and thereby become children of God.

6. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling presence the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.

7. We believe in the bodily resurrection of the saved unto the resurrection of life, and the bodily resurrection of the lost unto the resurrection of damnation.

8. We believe the elements of the Lord’s Supper symbolize the body and blood of the Lord Jesus and as such shall be partaken of by believers in remembrance of His death until He returns.

9. We believe that water baptism is a personal testimony of faith in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

10. We believe that the church exists on earth as the body of Christ to carry out His work on earth. Each member of His body has the responsibility of witnessing with life and lip that the unsaved may hear of the salvation in Jesus Christ, and especially gifted men are given to the body for the expressed purpose of teaching and bringing to spiritual maturity those who are members of the church.

11. According to the Christian Scriptures, marriage is the uniting of one man and one woman in covenant commitment for a lifetime.  It is God’s unique gift to reveal the union between Christ and His church and to provide for the man and the woman in marriage the framework for intimate companionship, the channel of sexual expression according to biblical standards, and the means for procreation of the human race.  We believe that sexual intimacy is a wonderful gift of God that is only to be expressed between one man and one woman (as genetically defined), within the love and bonds of marriage.  Genesis 2:24-25; Matthew 19:4-6; Ephesians 5:21-33; 1 Corinthians 7:3-5; Hebrews 13:4.
